This is what Paolo Gentiloni, Minister of Foreign Affairs, said after a meeting with his Georgian counterpart, Mr Mikheil Janelizde, during the first stop on his mission to Southern Caucasus.<\/p>\n<p>On this basis, said Gentiloni, we need to strengthen the economic relationships that can already count on a \u201csignificant\u201d exchange that makes Italy Georgia&#8217;s third-largest EU partner. Our strategy must aim at \u201csupporting our companies operating in this country in the energy, infrastructure, agro-food and tourism sectors\u201d and at the same time \u201cmake our Country known, and this will happen through a business forum scheduled to take place in Italy next year\u201d. Georgia, among other things, can become the \u201claunching pad towards other promising Asian markets\u201d, Gentiloni pointed out.
