He has been conferred a number of awards both in Italy and abroad. His music has been performed throughout the Western world, from South America to the Far East, and has been recorded by numerous State broadcasting networks. Mr Bellini will be the guest of honour at the Italian Cultural Institute in San Francisco which, in partnership with the Leonardo da Vinci Society, will present the \u201cRecital italiano\u201d at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, 13 October. Mr Bellini will perform music by Italian composers, including Scarlatti, Verdi, Leoncavallo, Bellini, Berio, Busoni and Casella, in addition of the only piano score written by Alban Berg.\u00a0As the conductor of the Nova Philarmonia Orchestra of Rome, Mr Bellini has performed almost 150 world premieres to date. In Italy, his music has been performed at the Accademia Nazionale di S.
