Last 23 September, Alessandro Torsoli, the president of AidAM \u2013 Associazione Italiana di Automazione Meccatronica \u2013 and Gianfranco Pinciroli, the president of the Italian-Czech Chamber of Commerce (CAMIC), signed an agreement to enhance the trade potential of Italian companies at the presence of the Italian Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Aldo Amati. Under the agreement, the CAMIC will represent Italy\u2019s Industry 4.0 in the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are happy to be able to support this agreement and we are certain that Italy\u2019s points of excellence will find the appropriate counterparts in this Country,\u201c said Ambassador Amati in his opening remarks. He continued: \u201cOn our part, we will offer our best possible support also to convey this message to the Czech institutions of reference.\u201c<\/p>\n
The principal aim of this agreement is to strengthen industrial cooperation between Italy and the Czech Republic in mechatronics and automation, two key sectors in the production processes known as Industry 4.0. \u201cThe agreement envisages developing strategic sectors like automation, mechatronics and the automotive industry, which already represent 50% of the trade flows between Italy and the Czech Republic,\u201c said President Pinciroli.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlso in Italy we are developing Industry 4.0 smart factory technology projects. In the Czech Repubic, we want to organise events to enable an exchange of know-how by involving the companies and research centres of both Countries,\u201c affirmed President Torsoli.<\/p>\n
