Stefano Benni is regarded as one of Italy&#8217;s most important writers: his signature combination of social satire and magical realism has turned all his novels into best-sellers. His works include &#8220;Bar Sport&#8221;, &#8220;La compagnia dei Celestini&#8221;, &#8220;Il bar sotto il mare&#8221; and the widely-known &#8220;Margherita Dolce Vita&#8221;. He has also written numerous essays, poems, and anthologies.
