The focus of the talks was the countries\u2019 bilateral relations.<\/p>\n<p>Italy is a historical partner of Congo Brazzaville. Following an entrepreneurial \u00a0mission \u00a0led by Prime Minister Renzi in July 2014, the economic and trade relations between the two countries recorded a strong acceleration, especially in the agricultural, building, transportation and infrastructure sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Before concluding the meeting, \u00a0Minister Gentiloni presented Minister Gakosso with two studies concerning the review of Congo\u2019s National Transport Plan and the development of that country\u2019s river and port infrastructure. The studies were developed by <i>Italferr<\/i>\u00a0(FS Group) and \u00a0<i>Italian Alliance for Ports-IA4P<\/i>\u00a0(a group of Italian enterprises coordinated by Finmeccanica) respectively.
