A selection of significant data is contained in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/mae\/resource\/doc\/2016\/07\/segnalibro_annuario_2016_retro_ter.jpg\">bookmark<\/a>\u00a0(303 official visits in Italy, 5,202,281 Italians listed in the consular registers, 2,043,162 entry visas, 294,767 passports issued by the consular network, 49,905 interventions to protect and assist Italian citizens abroad, 71,067 students enrolled in the Italian language courses at the Italian Cultural Institutes (IIC), 28,958 followers of the profile <a href=\"mailto:Farnesina@ItalyMFA%29.\">Farnesina@ItalyMFA.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is a working instrument for foreign policy professionals; a window on the Foreign Ministry for institutional partners and civil society.
