Italian Art of the 20<sup>th<\/sup> and 21<sup>st<\/sup> Centuries\u201d, an exhibition showcasing 60 years of Italian art history, will be opened at the Civic Gallery in Bratislava, Slovakia, in Central Eastern Europe, from 14 to 17 June. The exhibition will display the most significant work of 98 artists on the national and international art scene, including works by Sandro Chia, Enzo Cucchi, Mimmo Paladino, Alighiero Boetti, Enrico Baj, Franco Angeli, Mario Schifano, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Mimmo Rotella, Emilio Isgr\u00f2, Vincenzo Agnetti, Guglielmo Achille Cavellini, Zoran Mu\u0161i\u010d, Giuseppe Spagnulo, Franco Vaccari, Roberto Crippa, Nanni Balestrini, Eugenio Miccini and many more. The exhibition is organised by the Italian Institute of Culture in Bratislava and the Carlo Palli Archive of Prato and displays a historic reconstruction in images of the different multiple tendencies characterising Italian art from the post-war period to date. The exhibition, curated by Laura Mondaldi, will run until 2 October and is sponsored by the Minister of Culture of Slovakia, Marek Madaric, and the Mayor of Bratislava, Ivo Nesrovnal, in partnership with the Italian Embassy in Bratislava and the city\u2019s Civic Gallery. \u201cViva Italia!\u201d is part of the programme of the 9<sup>th<\/sup> edition of the Italian \u201cDolce vitaj\u201d Festival and will enrich the list of cultural events organised during Slovakia\u2019s six-month rotating presidency (July-December 2016) of the European Council.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\u201cViva Italia!
