The Austrian tourism market, together with the general German-speaking segment, represents a strategic target for the Administration of Friuli Venezia Giulia, as well as for its operating branch PromoTurismo FVG, which presented to journalists and tour operators the special edition of \u201cTiere furlane\u201d, the regional cultural magazine, at Vienna\u2019s MuseumsQuartier. The magazine consists of more than 150 pages completely written in German by Austrian journalists to explore the tastes and expectations of German-speaking tourists. In Vienna Sergio Bolzonello, the Vice President of the Region and Regional Councillor for Tourism and Production Activities, and Italian Ambassador Giorgio Marrapodi stressed that this tourism continues to focus special attention on Friuli Venezia Giulia. As highlighted by Austrian journalists Gisela Hopmueller and Franz Hlavac, coordinated by Enos Costantini, this regions spans from the mountain to the sea, offering food and wine specialties and cultural tours of its villas, towns and cities. A special focus is placed on the Karst region and Trieste, a city that is still \u201ca dream, a constant destination\u201d for Viennese travellers.
