The Festival is organised by the Made in Italy Association and the Italian Institute of Culture in the Lithuanian capital, with the support of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism. Seven recent films will be screened in the original version with subtitles, providing a brief overview of emerging trends in Italy\u2019s cinematographic production of dramas, comedies, and fantasy and docufiction films. The festival will be opened by \u201cLand of Saints\u201d (&#8220;La Terra dei Santi&#8221;) by director Fernando Muraca, who will answer questions from the audience after the film. \u201cThe Stuff of Dreams\u201d (&#8220;La stoffa dei sogni&#8221;) will be shown on Sunday, when director Gianfranco Cabiddu and the female lead, Teresa Saponagelo, will meet the Lithuanian public. The other films are\u00a0 \u201cMe, Myself and Her\u201d (&#8220;Io e lei&#8221;) by Maria Sole Tognazzi, \u201cHow Strange to be Named Federico\u201d (&#8220;Che strano chiamarsi Federico&#8221;) by Ettore Scola, \u201cDon&#8217;t Be Bad\u201d (&#8220;Non essere cattivo&#8221;) by Claudio Caligari, \u201cGod Willing\u201d (&#8220;Se Dio vuole&#8221;) by Edoardo Falcone and \u201cThey Call Me Jeeg Robot\u201d (&#8220;Lo chiamavano Jeeg Robot&#8221;) by Gabriele Mainetti.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The third edition of the Cinemando Festival of the best Italian films will soon begin in Vilnius.
