The terrorist threat must first of all be confronted by the unity of\u00a0 all Libyans. It is therefore urgent to implement the recently signed political agreement, overcoming internal divisions in order to create a Government of National Accord and concentrating primarily on the common fight against terrorism as well as on the reconstruction and pacification of the country.\u201d Italy\u2019s Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni commented upon today\u2019s tragic events in Libya, which killed dozens of people, mainly among recruits at a police training centre. \u201cThe Libyan people has been asking for years to live in peace and to have a democratic government committed to rebuilding the country.
