Born in Milan on 24 October\u00a01907, he was a sculptor, an illustrator, a graphic artist, a designer and a writer. &#8220;Travel Sculptures,&#8221; &#8220;Useless Machines,&#8221; &#8220;Unreadable Books&#8221; and &#8220;Talking Forks&#8221; are just\u00a0a few of the amazing objects produced by his creative mind. The Italian\u00a0 Institute\u00a0of Culture in Vilnius (Universiteto g. 4 ) has organized a very\u00a0special event celebrating Munari&#8217;s heritage. &#8220;Communicating visually&#8221; is scheduled to\u00a0take place\u00a0on 8 April at 4:30 p.m.\u00a0 What is graphic art? Who is a designer? How does creative logics work?\u00a0Mario Di Pasquale, a web designer and Eros Banchellini, a graphic designer,\u00a0will attempt to address these and many other questions during the conference dedicated to the great Italian artist. &#8220;Design and visual communication&#8221; (Laterza, Bari, 1968), one of Munari&#8217;s\u00a0most well-known books, will be discussed at the meeting\u00a0along with some exercises he developed\u00a0for his lectures. Bruno Munari evokes famous Italian companies such as Olivetti, La Rinascente, Pirelli and Campari, for which he made sketches, studies, drawings, posters and advertisements. He also worked for\u00a0some publishing houses (Bompiani, Rizzoli, Zanichelli, Editori Riuniti and\u00a0Corraini) from 1920 to 1970,\u00a0\u00a0for which he\u00a0produced graphic material and\u00a0carried out his first experiments in the field of language.
