Foreign Ministry Deputy Secretary General and head of delegation, Minister Bernardini presented the main activities carried out in 2015 and the growing challenges the Farnesina faced with decreasing resources and a strict budget.<\/p>\n<p>The Foreign Ministry continued to\u00a0innovate its administration through important reforms in development cooperation (with the establishment of the Development Cooperation Agency), allowances for\u00a0working abroad, streamlining office security and real estate assets\u00a0abroad. The Court of Auditors was presented with a description of the main services\u00a0provided by our diplomatic and consular network (over 2 million visas, almost 300,000 passports issued) for an overall revenue of over 155 million euros.
