Infinite variations\u201d will be hosted at the Tokyo Station Gallery where it will be inaugurated on Friday, Feb. 19 and will remain open until April 10. The exhibition is curated by the Istituzione Bologna Musei &#8211; Museo Morandi, and sponsored by the Municipal Council of Bologna, the Italian Embassy in Tokyo, the Italian Institute of Culture (IIC) in the Japanese capital and Alitalia. The opening ceremony will be attended, among others, by the Italian Ambassador Domenico Giorgi, the Mayo of Itabashi, Takeshi Sakamoto, Matteo Lepore, the City Councillor for Economy and promotion of Bologna, and Patrik Romano, managing director of Bologna Welcome.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cInfinite variations\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The tour\u2019s first stop at Kobe\u2019s Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art ended on Feb. 14 after having been seen by approximately 31,124 visitors. After Tokyo, the Japanese tour will continue at the Museum of Art of Iwate, where Morandi\u2019s artwork will be on show from April 16 to June 5. The exhibition is curated by Lorenza Selleri and Giusi Vecchi and consists of more than 50 paintings and 50 watercolours, drawings and etchings on paper mainly from the Morandi Museum and other important Italian public and private collections.
