A\u00a0meeting was held\u00a0at the Secretaria de Relations Exteriores,\u00a0concerning the 12 projects funded by the 2014-2016 Executive Programme for Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Italy and Mexico. It was aimed at taking stock of the current state of the scientific and technological cooperation between the two\u00a0countries.\u00a0Researchers from\u00a0various Italian and Mexican institutions, and representatives from\u00a0the Italian embassy and the Mexican Agency for International Cooperation (Amerced), reported\u00a0on the progress achieved\u00a0by the twelve joint initiatives\u00a0at the end of the first year of activities.\u00a0The projects were\u00a0specifically involved with the sectors of aerospace, agriculture and agri-food, environment and energy, biomedical sciences, basic sciences and technologies applied to cultural heritage.<\/p>\n
Italy and Mexico take stock of Scientific and Technological Cooperation<\/strong><\/p>\n A progress report meeting took\u00a0place to set\u00a0concrete guidelines concerning the scientific and technical cooperation between\u00a0Italy and Mexico, in view of continuing this collaborative program which was established December 1, 2014, at the Fourth Session of the Joint Commission. The Italian delegation that took part at the event was led by the Italian ambassador to Mexico, Alessandro Busacca and the Mexican delegation by the director for scientific-technical cooperation of Amexid, Ambassador Bruno Figueroa.
