The strategy will unfold in three phases, with two intermediate objectives before 2050: 7% of energy from renewable sources by 2020 and 25% by 2030. The plan was presented during the opening of the second stage of the &#8220;Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum&#8221; solar park, the largest of its kind in the world, and capable of producing over 5,000 MW of installed power, which is equal to 25% of Dubai\u2019s energy production. The Emirate\u2019s shift toward the green economy is marked by a variety of initiatives.
