After seeing Bronzino\u2019s portrait of Dante at the Uffizi Gallery for the 250<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the poet\u2019s birth, I felt what better way to celebrate the occasion than to exhibit that exceptional piece here in the U.S. for the first time.
