The theme of the 49th instalment of \u201cDiplomazia e dintorni\u201d is \u201cMusic Diplomacy\u201d, and will air on Radio LUISS on Tuesday December 1st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Music has always been considered a means for fostering understanding among peoples, a common language that facilitates communication and is therefore capable of bridging the differences between cultures and traditions. It can thus be thought of as a highly useful tool for diplomacy and part of that \u201csoft power\u201d that is one of its features.<\/p>\n

This week\u2019s guest is culture manager and musician Paolo Petrocelli, with whom we will discuss the concept of \u201cmusic diplomacy\u201d, analysing the activities and initiatives that could be associated with it. We will speak about those who could be involved and what goals could be expected from a variety of international activities.<\/p>\n
