Next stop Norway for \u201cCartoline dall\u2019altra Italia\u201d,\u00a0a web series created by 9colonne with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u2019s Directorate General for Italians Abroad and Migration Policies. This week Giuseppe Panzella, Salerno-born architect, who two years ago, after having worked in Romania, the Philippines and China, decided to pack his bags for the past time and move to Oslo with his family, tells us about his experience. In Norway, a veritable architectural paradise, he works on residential and urban landscape projects. \u201cOslo has grown a lot in recent years\u201d the architect explains, \u201cand with that growth comes the need for new housing\u201d. No lack of work then, in a place no less than ideal for raising kids: \u201cParents are able to dedicate lots of time to their families and the State helps anyone who makes their contribution\u201d. Giuseppe has found a city that \u201coffers a lot also from the cultural standpoint, in a multicultural and multiracial environment\u201d. For the moment, the architect has no plans to return to Italy: \u201cOn the one hand, I would like it if things in Italy were better so we could go back, but we don\u2019t see that in our future; for now we\u2019re fine here\u201d.<\/p>\n
