\u201cAchieved thanks to the efforts of all the negotiators, and the important role played by the European Union, the Vienna agreement shows the efficacy of diplomacy and dialogue in helping reduce the risks of instability in the region\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe agreement\u201d, added the Minister, \u201copens up new and positive opportunities for the Iranian people and for the region. It maps out a normalisation pathway in relations with the international community. This process could also have effects on the resumption of economic and commercial relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cItaly has always encouraged the committed efforts by the parties concerned to reach a good, solid and verifiable agreement. An agreement that provides guarantees for the international community as to the solely peaceful nature of Iran\u2019s nuclear programme. Over the coming months we will be working to consolidate this result and to reassure those countries that take a negative view of the accord\u201d.<\/p>\n
