The work will be on display from today until 20 September 2015 in the inner courtyard of the Galleria dell\u2019Accademia in Florence. Promoted by the Gallery in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Washington DC and PMG Italia, the exhibition sponsored by the GEM Group, which commissioned the work.<\/p>\n<p>The Italian Ambassador to the United States, Claudio Bisogniero, underscored that \u201cDavid is such a strong symbol of Italy\u2019s heritage, and now a guardian of the friendship between our two countries.
