Italy hopes for agreement<\/strong><\/p>\n As Minister Gentiloni told the Iranian authorities, Italy hopes to see an agreement that reassures the international community over the peaceful nature of Iran\u2019s nuclear programme. He called on the Iranians to \u201cmake every effort to consider the most flexible approach possible\u201d. An approach that also takes the remaining difficulties into account, such as the timescale and conditions for withdrawing sanctions.<\/p>\n Stability for the region<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cReaching agreement is in the interest of all\u201d, as Gentiloni underscored. \u201cIt is in the interest of peace, of the international community, of regional stability \u2013 in which Iran can play a decisive role \u2013 of combating terrorism and the common enemy that calls itself ISIS.
