During the meeting they also underscored \u201cthe very important ties between our two countries\u201d, and Minister Gentiloni reconfirmed Italy\u2019s support for the Tunisia\u2019s democratic and constitutional undertakings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Italy supports UN envoy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gentiloni, who also met with his Tunisian colleague Taieb\u00a0Baccouche, who pledged his country\u2019s \u201cwillingness to collaborate with Algeria and the countries of the region\u201d in confronting the Libyan crisis, renewed Italy\u2019s pledge to \u201coffer every support\u201d to the diplomatic efforts of UN envoy to Libya Bernardino Leon.
