\u201cThe Holy Crucifix of Monreale\u201d is the title of a photography exhibition featuring the work of Venezuelan photographer Adolfo Acosta that has just opened in Caracas and will run until 27 March 2015. Organised and hosted by the Italian Cultural Institute, the exhibition includes 32 images of the traditional procession in Monreale, in the Province of Palermo in Sicily.<\/p>\n
The event is part of the \u201cYear of Italy in Latin America\u201d, an initiative promoted by the Farnesina. The \u201cYear\u201d also enjoys support from the Ministry of Cultural Assets and Tourism, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Italian Trade Agency-ICE, the Conference of Italian University Rectors and the Italian business community.
