Production from phase one totals 7,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe\/d), with the oil being sent for treatment on the Eni-operated Zatchi production platform via a 17-km subsea pipeline.<\/p>\n<p>The field will be developed in several stages, which include the installation of production platforms and the drilling of more than 30 wells. Production is expected to plateau at 140,000 boe\/d.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years the company has discovered 3.5 billion boe in the Congolese Marine XII block, of which 1.5 billion can be attributed to the Nene Marine field. The field offers new development potential, currently the subject of further delineation activities.<\/p>\n<p>Eni operates Marine XII with a 65% holding through subsidiary Eni Congo SA. The other partners are New Age (25%) and Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Nationale des P\u00e9troles du Congo (10%). ENI has been operating in Congo since 1968 and currently produces about 110,000 boe\/d.
