The event will take place beginning at 3 pm today, 8 October, in the chamber of Palazzo Montecitorio, in the presence of the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.<\/p>\n<p>Introducing the Conference are the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Roberto Fico, the President of the Senate, Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati, the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Duarte Pacheco, the President of the Italian Group of the IPU, and the IPU\u2019s honorary President, Pierferdinando Casini.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Di Maio will be addressing the conference as Keynote Speaker on the theme &#8220;Global ambitions to combat climate change&#8221; together with Giorgio Parisi, Nobel Prize in Physics 2021, and the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/webtv.camera.it\/embedded\/evento\/19023?w=500&#038;h=375\" scrolling=\"no\" seamless=\"seamless\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, is participating in the opening ceremony of the PRE-COP26 Parliamentary Conference.
