This is the first initiative of its kind by a central government department.<\/p>\n<p>The facility will also be open to public servants posted abroad, who are often employed in areas with a high epidemiological risk and limited access to vaccines. The project is part of the Lazio Region\u2019s vaccination programme and is the result of a partnership with the local health authority ASL Roma 1 \u2013 District 15, which has provided a dedicated medical team.<\/p>\n<p>The inauguration of the centre was attended by the Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry Ambassador, Ettore Francesco Sequi, and the Director General of ASL Roma 1, Dr. Angelo Tanese.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/mae\/resource\/img\/2021\/06\/centro_vaccinale.jpg\" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" alt=\"centro vaccinale\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has opened a vaccination centre for employees and their families at its internal outpatient clinic.
