A unique vessel &#8211; free for the public &#8211; where music, literature, poetry, cinema, theatre, visual arts, web art, as well as architecture, design, history, archaeology, food and wine come to the fore.\u00a0An investment for the development of the Italian cultural and creative sector, deeply affected by the pandemic but which has never stopped imagining, producing and making people dream. A sector that also aims for innovation and growth on an international level.<\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning of the pandemic,\u00a0the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has supported the internationalization of artists and cultural and creative industries with additional resources, producing and promoting over 400\u00a0original works\u00a0and content and engaging hundreds of artists and professionals. This commitment is flanked by the initiatives (face-to-face and virtual) carried out by the 128 Embassies and Permanent Representations, by the 81 Consulates and by the\u00a082 Italian Cultural Institutes\u00a0&#8211; which, together with the Italian schools abroad and the archaeological missions, make up the &#8220;extended cultural network\u201d of the Farnesina around the world.<\/p>\n<p><i>italiana<\/i>\u00a0is not a point of arrival but a point of departure: it is the beginning of a journey that will see the Farnesina and its network abroad accompany Italian culture and creativity in the coming years, offering the international public\u00a0new ways of enjoying\u00a0it\u00a0where the in-person component will always be associated with a digital part, capable of reaching new spectators and new countries.<\/p>\n<p><i>italiana<\/i>.\u00a0Italy has never been so close.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/tp1X0WgiZsQ\" seamless=\"seamless\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>What will we find on<i>\u00a0italiana<\/i>?<\/p>\n<p>Here are some examples, born from the collaboration with artists, festivals and cultural partners, of the launch events already available online: the musical journeys of\u00a0<i>JazzLife<\/i>\u00a0with Umbria Jazz, the interviews of\u00a0<i>Ritratti di donne<\/i>\u00a0with the Premio Solinas, the performances of\u00a0<i>Vivere all&#8217;Italiana sul palcoscenico e in musica<\/i>\u00a0(classical and Jazz), the documentary\u00a0<i>Testimoni dei Testimoni\u00a0<\/i>by Studio Azzurro, the podcasts of\u00a0<i>Music &#038; the Cities<\/i>\u00a0with Studio33 &#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>In the<i>\u00a0italiana<\/i>\u00a0project there is no lack of surprises even for the little ones: in the coming months, in fact, the famous mouse journalist\u00a0Geronimo Stilton\u00a0will reveal the &#8220;wonders&#8221; of Italy to children from all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>Much more content will arrive shortly, starting from that related to the\u00a0700th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri, the\u00a0150th anniversary of the birth of Grazia Deledda, the only Italian female writer to have received a Nobel Prize, and the\u00a0centenary of the birth of Leonardo Sciascia.<\/p>\n<p>The<i>\u00a0italiana\u00a0<\/i>platform (in Italian and English) is arranged into three macro-sections:\u00a0<i>Culture and Creativity, Language and Training<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<i>Opportunities<\/i>. Set up as if it were a real magazine,\u00a0<i>italiana<\/i>\u00a0will also offer interviews, focuses, and insights.
