Scenarios and Protagonists<\/i>, edited by Cesare Biasini Selvaggi and Valentino Catrical\u00e0, published by Electa.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The book contains an original overview of the relationship between art and new technologies, from the last decades of the 20<sup>th<\/sup> century to the most recent experimental works. In particular, it investigates research into Artificial Intelligence, posthuman, the relations between art and the web, extended reality and the use of video in today\u2019s world, experimenting with sound.\u00a0It ends with a focus on eighty-six Italian artists who work in this field, in Italy and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The theme of this issue will be at the centre of four webinars organised by the Italian Institutes of Culture in Amsterdam, Washington, San Francisco and Vienna, in connection with the third edition of the \u201cContemporary Art Day \u2013 Italian Contemporary Art\u201d event (5-11 December 2020).
