{"id":57538,"date":"2018-05-22T10:46:48","date_gmt":"2018-05-22T08:46:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2018\/05\/progetto-museo-verde-2\/"},"modified":"2018-05-22T10:46:48","modified_gmt":"2018-05-22T08:46:48","slug":"progetto-museo-verde-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/eventi\/2018\/05\/progetto-museo-verde-2\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cMuseo Verde\u201d Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Italian-Latin American Institute sponsors the \u201cMuseo Verde\u201d (\u201cGreen Museum\u201d) project\u00a0that will be presented next Friday, at 9:50 a.m., at the Villa Giulia Etruscan Museum, as part of the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> International Conference of Museology organised by Dia\u2019 Cultura.<\/p>\n<p>The project merges ancestral traditions and modern technologies with the aim of valorising the native cultures of the Gran Chaco Pantanal, a little-known region three times the size of Italy situated in the heart of the South American Continent, between Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil and Paraguay.<\/p>\n<p>The project is grounded on four essential points:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0creating a network of mini museum facilities across the territory in order to preserve and display ancient traditional objects;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0stimulating artistic\/artisanal activities which, in some cases, are inoperative;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0promoting the virtual devolution to native populations of artefacts kept in Italian museums;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0mapping the cultures of the region, plotting an Ethnological Circuit of the Gran Chaco Pantanal for adventure tourism.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Italian-Latin American Institute sponsors the \u201cMuseo Verde\u201d (\u201cGreen Museum\u201d) project\u00a0that will be presented next Friday, at 9:50 a.m., at the Villa Giulia Etruscan Museum, as part of the 3rd International Conference of Museology organised by Dia\u2019 Cultura.
