It is a project developed by teamwork that will be presented at the Farnesina today, before Minister Alfano, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Italy, Saqr Nasser Ahmed Abdullah Al Raisi, and Commisioner Glisenti.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Italy\u2019s participation contract was signed by the Foreign Minister,\u00a0Angelino Alfano, on 20 January in Abu Dhabi, during a visit to the United Arab\u00a0Emirates, and Paolo Glisenti, recently appointed Commissioner General for\u00a0the Italian Pavilion.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Italy will participate in this event, which constitutes a unique opportunity for\u00a0international dialogue with the experience acquired at Expo Milano2015. Italy will bring this experience as a legacy to the Emirati organizers, based\u00a0both on the contents of the \u201cMilan Charter\u201d and of the good practices acquired\u00a0in organizing the 2015 edition of the World Expo.\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">The Italian project to participate in Expo Dubai 2020 will ideally follow up on what was done in Milan and will represent one of the primary priorities\u00a0of Italy\u2019s economic diplomacy in the upcoming years. The great teamwork\u00a0presented today will involve the Government, local Authorities, the sector\u2019s major\u00a0trade associations, cultural, study and research institutions, and representatives of the third sector.\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Spearheading this project will also be Italian companies, some of which have already been adjudicated important works, the most important of which is the dome on the central square of Expo Dubai, one of the Expo\u2019s most iconic landmarks.<\/div>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Italy\u2019s participation in the upcoming World Expo, which will take place in Dubai from 20 October 2020 to 10 April 2021, aims to present Italy\u2019s cultural and creative identity, capable of combining art and science, tradition and technology, creativity and beauty as the basis of global dialogue.
