On 5 October the Ambassador of Italy to Greece, Patrizia Falcinelli, inaugurated &#8220;The image of images&#8221;, an exhibition promoted and organised by the Italian Cultural Institute, to mark the year of the 700th anniversary of the death of the Supreme Poet.<\/p>\n<p>Under the scientific direction of Prof. Gerasimos Zoras and the artistic direction of Konstantinos Moussas, nine Italian and eleven Greek artists have reinterpreted the Divine Comedy in a contemporary key, using a range of different techniques and materials to interpret its extraordinary heritage, testifying to the great influence that Dante had, and that still continues today, including in Greece.<\/p>\n<p>The works &#8211; which were specially created for this exhibition &#8211; are on display at the Italian Cultural Institute. The exhibition is open to the public, free of charge, Mondays- Fridays from 1500-1900, and on Saturdays from 1000 to 1300.
