{"id":58080,"date":"2021-10-01T10:27:22","date_gmt":"2021-10-01T08:27:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2021\/10\/lussemburgo-il-design-italiano-e-la-progettazione-sostenibile-2\/"},"modified":"2021-10-01T10:27:22","modified_gmt":"2021-10-01T08:27:22","slug":"lussemburgo-il-design-italiano-e-la-progettazione-sostenibile-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/retediplomatica\/2021\/10\/lussemburgo-il-design-italiano-e-la-progettazione-sostenibile-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Luxembourg: Italian design for sustainable projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the occasion of the 5th edition of the Italian Design Day in Luxembourg, the Italian Embassy and the Italian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (CCIL) have organised a conference on \u201cDesign and Materials: new challenges for a fresh sustainable start of the Made in Italy brand\u201d, during which the participants analysed how the world of design relates to the objectives of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.<\/p>\n<p>At the conference, architect Enrico Frigerio, once again designated \u201cAmbassador of Italian Design\u201d in Luxembourg, spoke about how sustainable architecture designs and builds buildings with a view to minimising their environmental impact, setting as its design goals energy efficiency, improved health, comfort and quality of use for the people who live and work inside them, which can be achieved by integrating appropriate structures and technologies into the building. These are nZEB (Nearly Zero Energy) buildings, featuring high energy efficiency and practically zero consumption.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/mae\/resource\/img\/2021\/10\/lussemburgo_1.jpg\" width=\"750\" height=\"355\" alt=\"lussemburgo 1\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The conference was also attended by the Director of the &#8220;Fonds Belval&#8221;, Daniela Di Santo, an Italian architect at the head of the Luxembourg organisation that builds and renovates low-energy buildings and public works, further demonstrating the prestige enjoyed by Italian professional excellence across the world.
