A cultural project accompanying the presentation, on 23 September, of a new episode of the video-series produced by the Italian Embassy called \u201cFrom Tehran to Rome. A Journey through Art\u201d, which explores the figure of the Italian-Iranian artist who lived in Rome and developed an interest in modernism, abstract art and neo-futurism.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/mae\/resource\/img\/2021\/09\/akbar_mikhak_1.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"akbar mikhak 1\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Rome, he also opened an art gallery (Galleria Altri Temi) and a cultural centre (Centro Culturale Aquario), finally returning to Iran in 1996.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/mae\/resource\/img\/2021\/09\/akbar_mikhak_3.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"akbar mikhak 3\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The first of the three collections displayed is called &#8220;Vague&#8221; and consists of 20 postcards arranged on a large panel, depicting the various stages of an ideal journey from Rome to Isfahan and back. The second, called &#8220;Living Soul&#8221;, features 6 stylised photographs of water reflections of Venice.
