On the occasion of the bicentenary of Anita Garibaldi’s birth, the Italian Cultural Institutes of Rio de Janeiro and San Paolo present “L’Attesa” (The Waiting), a monologue by Valeria Magrini, in two different versions: in Italian, performed by the young talent from Ravenna Asia Galeotti directed by Emanuele Montagna, and in Portuguese, performed by the Brazilian actress Camila Felix directed by Gianluca Barbadori.<\/p>\n

The performances can be seen free of charge from 6.30 pm on 28 August, throughout September, on the YouTube channels of both\u00a0Institutes. The debut will be introduced by a presentation event, with the live participation of the two directors, the two actresses and the author of the monologue, on 27 August at 6.30 pm.<\/p>\n

The initiative is promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute of Rio de Janeiro and S\u00e3o Paulo, in collaboration with\u00a0Ponte tra Culture<\/i>, a network of artists and cultural operators based in Ancona (Italy), Bogot\u00e1 (Colombia) and Belo Horizonte (Brazil), the\u00a0Scuola Teatro Colli<\/i>\u00a0and the\u00a0Gruppo Teatro Colli<\/i>\u00a0of Bologna (Italy).<\/p>\n
