The Italian Cultural Institute of Rio de Janeiro is pleased to present Conversando Sobre a Hist\u00f3ria da Moda Italiana<\/i>, a series of four video lectures on the history of Italian fashion.<\/p>\n

In the lectures Cecilia Varella, fashion designer and lecturer in fashion history, addresses topics such as the birth of the fashion industry or the extraordinary importance that Italy – home to some of the most famous brands in the world – has gained in this sector.<\/p>\n

The series of videos concludes with a detailed analysis of trends in the twentieth century and Italian style.<\/p>\n

The first three lessons of the cycle – in Portuguese language – are already available on the\u00a0<\/span>Youtube<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>channel of the Italian Cultural Institute in Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n
