Organised in cooperation with The Hong Kong International Film Festival Society and supported by the Consulate General of Italy in Hong Kong, the FELLINI 100 programme will present 24 films, most of them digitally restored by Luce Cinecitt\u00e0, Cineteca di Bologna and Cineteca Nazionale.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/mae\/resource\/img\/2020\/07\/fellini_100.jpg\" width=\"750\" height=\"532\" alt=\"fellini 100\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" \/><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\">\n<p>Six of Fellini&#8217;s most famous masterpieces will be presented at the 44<sup>th<\/sup> edition of the Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF44), to be held from 18<sup>th<\/sup> to 31<sup>st<\/sup> August 2020, including the director&#8217;s four Oscar-winning works for the best foreign language film: La Strada (1954); Le notti di Cabiria (1957), for which Giulietta Masina was rewarded as the best female interpreter at the Cannes Film Festival; 8 1\u20442 (1963) and Amarcord (1973). To complete the programme are La Dolce Vita (1960), winner of the Palme d&#8217;Or and Rome (1972). The Hong Kong International Film Festival will also host an exhibition of photographs, rare posters and handmade drawings by Fellini, courtesy of the Cineteca di Bologna, as well as a concert of the memorable soundtracks written by Nino Rota for Fellini&#8217;s films, which will be directed by Lorenzo Antonio Iosco.
