The Italian Embassy in Prague yesterday promoted the launch of the fundraising campaign “Aiuta Venezia!”, in collaboration with the Italian-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Czech National Television, the Municipality of Prague Capital and the company Jaspen.<\/p>\n
The campaign was launched in support of the Venetian capital following the severe floods that hit the Lagoon last November.<\/p>\n
The funds raised will be allocated to a recovery project that will be identified together with the Municipality of Venice at the end of the initiative. The launch took place in the K\u0159\u00ed\u017eov\u00e1 chodba of the Carolina University of Prague, in the presence of Ambassador Francesco Saverio Nisio and the Vice Minister of Culture Petra Smol\u00edkov\u00e1 representing the Government, and the Rector of the Carolina University Tom\u00e1\u0161 Zima, on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition “Venetian Reflections”.<\/p>\n
