Music, and especially opera music, was the key theme chosen by the Italian Embassy in Uzbekistan for the initiatives organised for the Italian Language Week in the World.<\/p>\n
The central event was the lecture in Tashkent on \u201cItalian on Stage\u201d by Maestro Daniele Agiman, professor of orchestral conducting at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan.\u00a0In the Organ Hall that the State Conservatory made available to the Embassy, the Maestro recalled the importance of the Italian language in the world and its persisting influence on art, also thanks to its prevalence in opera music. The Opera, the Maestro explained, was born in Italy in the 16th century also because our language is what best gives musicality, force and emotions to a text. He then drew examples from the best librettists and talked about their successful partnership with famous composers (Mozart, Verdi, Rossini, Puccini).<\/p>\n
Maestro Agiman and soprano Sandra Buongrazio, professor of Opera Singing at the “L. D’Annunzio” State Music Conservatory of Pescara, also held opera singing auditions and master classes at the Navoi Theatre and at the Conservatory: practical classes on singing techniques and on the artistic and acting skills of singers.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
