This project, called \u201cUrban Art Unites\u201d, opened with the work of Paolo Bordino (known as PAO) and the Iranian Mehdi Ghadyanloo, who is the author of many murals in Teheran. Thus, for the occasion, the fa\u00e7ade of the residence of the Italian Ambassador in Teheran was transformed into an outdoor canvas incorporating two separate works conceived to dovetail to reinterpret the age-old intense cultural ties between Italy and Iran through the vanguard language and forms of street art. The works will be on display and visible to the public for two months and will then be replaced by two new works by another two Italian and Iranian artists. The process will continue in this way, displaying two new works every two months, until the project closes in September 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe &#8216;URBAN ART UNITES&#8217; Project \u2013 said Italian Ambassador Giuseppe Perrone when opening the exhibition \u2013 puts together Iranian and Italian artists, engaging them in a 12-month-long artistic adventure to express a common sense of belonging and a unitary vision of the world, of nature and of interpersonal relationships through the creative language of urban art, bearing witness to the universal value of art and its message of brotherhood and solidarity among people.\u201d He concluded: \u201cToday, artistically speaking, Teheran is an exceptionally vivacious city and therefore the natural venue for an initiative of this scope and significance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Two street artists, one Italian and one Iranian, will exhibit on the fa\u00e7ade of the residence of the Italian Ambassador in Teheran for a year.
