The exhibition, which will run until 1 November, was organised in association with the Centro Educacional Leonardo da Vinci di Brasilia and displays 21 prototypes built in a 1:1 scale on the design of the Italian Renaissance genius, six of which are being shown in Brazil for the first time. The life-size models, which include the Catapult, the Flying Machine, the Crossbow, the 33-pipe Organ and the Ornithopter, will be displayed alongside reproductions of the artist\u2019s most famous paintings, including \u201cThe Last Supper\u201d, the \u201cMona Lisa\u201d and the \u201cLady with an Ermine\u201d. The initiative is part of a rich agenda of events promoted by the Embassy to celebrate Leonardo, with conferences, lectures and the screening of docufilms to explore the life and work of the great Renaissance master.
