A great success was recorded by \u2018The Revenger\u2019s Tragedy’ by Thomas Middleton, in the adaptation by director Declan Donnellan and produced by the Piccolo Teatro di Milano that was staged at the Aleksandrinskij Theatre in St. Petersburg thanks to the partnership between the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities (MIBAC) and the Italian Cultural Institute. The cast of young actors, the refined stage settings and Donnellan\u2019s masterly staging have confirmed the role of the Piccolo Teatro di Milano as the privileged ambassador of our culture abroad.<\/p>\n
The two repeat performances were part of the programme of the Theatre Olympics in Russia \u2013 an international event that saw the participation of Europe\u2019s most important theatre companies \u2013 and were both sold-out.
