The winner of the Premio Pini 2017,\u00a0the book contains texts in Portuguese, Italian and English. The book was written at the end of the photographer\u2019s numerous trips to Venice within a project aimed at singling out the common denominators that make the Venice Carnival similar to the principal fancy-dress carnivals in Brazil. Through a large number of black and white pictures of the lagoon\u2019s most famous monuments and of Venetian masks, the author ushers readers in a journey of the Serenissima across time. The contributions at the presentation event were moderated by the editor Valdemir Cunha.
