An exceptional talent and Italy’s youngest orchestra conductress, Beatrice Venezi performed at the prestigious Libertador Theatre in Cordoba with the Symphonic Orchestra of the Province of Cordoba. The concert, which was\u00a0 organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in Cordoba, was held at the city’s famous theatre that just recently reopened after going through a most delicate restructuring that exalted the extraordinary creativity of its Italian architect, Francesco Tamburini.<\/p>\n
Beatrice Venezi, conductress, pianist and composer, was born in 1990 and was listed by Forbes among the 100 top young talents under 30. In 2005 she was the first-prize winner of the “R. Zucchi” National Piano Contest and in 2006 she won the “R.Zannuccoli” International Competition for young musicians. She also worked with major national orchestras, like the Orchestra Regionale Toscana and the Dedalo Ensemble. She specialized in contemporary music and\u00a0performed several premi\u00e8res of Italian composers, both as a pianist and as a conductor.\u00a0She also wrote and published musicology essays.
