At the inaugural ceremony, attended by the Indonesian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdurrahman Muhammad Fachir, Ambassador Sandalli pointed out that the exhibition offers an overview of our Country\u2019s important contributions to areas of fundamental importance not only for Italy but also for the rest of the world. Visitors follow a path that involves them emotionally as they discover Italian items of excellence.\u00a0Sandalli also recalled that this is the first of a series of initiatives designed to celebrate the 70th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations between Italy and Indonesia\u00a0this year. The exhibition was promoted and financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and realized thanks to the contribution of the Embassy and the Italian\u00a0Cultural\u00a0Institute in Jakarta, in cooperation with the National Research Council and four of Italy\u2019s leading scientific museums: Fondazione Idis-Citt\u00e0 della Scienza;\u00a0Galileo Galilei Museum of Florence; Science Museum \u2013 Muse di Trento; and the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan. &#8220;Italy: The Beauty of Knowledge&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 comes to Jakarta after having been met with great success in Egypt, India and Singapore in the course of 2018.
