The pianist\u2019s performance was part of the 24<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0edition of the cycle of Great Performers organised by the Fondazione Scherzo.<\/p>\n<p>The Italian Cultural Institute cooperated with the Foundation to promote Maestro Pollini\u2019s concert. Since 2001, the Fondazione Scherzo has concentrated its activities on disseminating piano music through two festivals, one specifically dedicated to Great Performers and another to Young Performers, which has become a point of reference for emerging talents both at national and international level.<\/p>\n<p>In last night\u2019s concert, the only one scheduled in Spain, Pollini played Chopin and Debussy.
