\u2018MODA!\u00a0Italy on the catwalk\u2019 brought six young talents of Italian fashion in the limelight of the Vancouver\u00a0Fashion Week: Arianna Bonifazi, Gaoming Chen, He Yan and Yeqi Tang, all students at the New Academy of Fine Arts (NABA) of Milan, under the guidance of Nicoletta Morozzi. They presented their creations together with Elena Pignata for ‘Ombra di Foglia’ and Giulia Solda for Maatroom.<\/p>\n
The Italian fashion event was opened by the Consul General in Vancouver\u00a0Massimiliano Iacchini, who pointed out the importance of fashion as a link between culture, creativity and economy. It is a context in which Italy has much to offer, especially in a city like Vancouver, which represents fertile ground for exchanges and a multicultural context ready to absorb new ideas and creative proposals. Many players from the world of Canadian and international fashion crowded both the fashion show and the subsequent reception organised by the Consulate and the Chamber of Commerce.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
In addition, at the Simon Fraser University-SFU in\u00a0Vancouver,\u00a0Nicoletta Morozzi held a workshop titled ‘Fashion is a Language. Making Fashion at NABA’, which was attended by around 50 people.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
