The\u00a014th Busho (Budapest Short) International Short Film Festival\u00a0will be held between 28 August and 2 September. The main goals of Busho have always been to give young film producers a chance to gain publicity and to develop the Central European audio-visual sector, helping to construct new European values. National productions will also be screened, plus selections from other festivals and presentations by film schools and workshops.<\/p>\n
The festival will include an \u2018Italian Day\u2019 in the Federico Fellini room at the Italian Cultural Institute, with the\u00a0Centrale Nazionale del Cortomettraggio (CNC)\u00a0(National short film centre), the\u00a0Italian Foreign Ministry\u00a0and the\u00a0Olbia\u00a0Figari Film Fest.\u00a0On Wednesday, 29 August, from 7p.m., there will be a screening of Italian short films provided by the CNC, including:\u00a0Birthday\u00a0by Alberto Viavattene,\u00a0Bismillah\u00a0by Alessandro Grande,\u00a0Denise\u00a0by Rossella Inglese,\u00a0Insetti\u00a0by Gianluca Manzetti,\u00a0Respiro\u00a0by Andrea Brusa and Marco Scotuzzi and\u00a0Timballo\u00a0by Maurizio Forcella. The Director of the Olbia-based Figari Film Fest,\u00a0Matteo Pianezzi, will make a presentation, followed by a showing of the short films\u00a0Warlords\u00a0by Francesco Pirisi and\u00a0Waiting For\u00a0by Matteo Pianezzi.<\/p>\n
The other CNC films will be\u00a0Ab ovo\u00a0by Luca Ferri,\u00a0Yonder\u00a0by Roberto Cinardi,\u00a0Koala\u00a0by Cristina Puccinelli and\u00a0Pastarelle\u00a0by Gianluca Manzetti on Monday, 10 September, at 6p.m. in the Federico Fellini room at the Italian Cultural Institute.<\/p>\n
