Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini has assured Premier Haider al-Abadi and the new government, which today obtained the confidence of the Iraqi Parliament, of Italy\u2019s support. \u201cAfter months of clashes and political instability, Iraq seems at last to have embarked on a new path. Let\u2019s hope now that the vote of confidence in Haider al-Abadi\u2019s government, in which all the communities of the country are represented, marks a turning point\u201d, said Mogherini.<\/A><\/P> \u201cItaly stands by the Iraqi people and will go on supporting both the national reconciliation process now entrusted to al-Abadi and the efforts to combat ISIS. And we will go on providing help, in the form of humanitarian intervention, for the populations involved in the conflict.
