In honor of the 100th anniversary of Federico Fellini\u2019s birth, postponed for a year because of the pandemic, a screening of several of his masterpieces concluded a few days ago at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston (MFAH), one of the most prestigious cultural institutions of Texas.<\/p>\n
The event, inaugurated in September, was co-produced by the Istituto Luce of Cinecitta’ and sponsored by the Italian Institute of Culture in Los Angeles, in collaboration with the General Consulate of Houston in the framework of integrated promotional initiatives.<\/p>\n
A series of twelve films was shown, presented in the original language with subtitles in English. Among them were \u201cLa Strada\u201d,\u00a0 \u201cLe Notti di Cabiria\u201d,\u00a0 \u201cGiulietta degli Spiriti\u201d and \u201cLa Dolce Vita\u201d concluding, on November 7, with \u201cAmarcord\u201d.<\/p>\n
