On Wednesday, 19 January 2022, at 11:00 a.m.<\/strong>, the Farnesina will host the dedication ceremony of the EU Treaty Room<\/strong> to the memory of European Parliament President David Sassoli.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event can be attended by journalists <\/strong>in person,<\/u> from the Ministry\u2019s Aldo Moro salle d\u2019\u00e9coute, and by the official photographers<\/strong> directly in the venue. <\/strong>Public Broadcaster RAI will make its images available to anyone requesting them. It will also be possible to follow the Ceremony in live streaming <\/u>on the Farnesina\u2019s YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

To attend the Ceremony, it will be mandatory to: <\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. <\/u>carry a Super Green Pass<\/u><\/strong> (a “reinforced” version of the\u00a0certificate of vaccination or recovery from the virus);<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Display the result of a swab test (if a rapid antigen test, taken not more than 48 prior to the event, if a molecular test, taken not more than 72 hours prior to the event);<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Wear a\u00a0FFP2 mask.<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for accreditation by 4:00 PM, Tuesday, 18 January,<\/u><\/strong> in one of the following two ways:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • ONLINE<\/strong>, at the link https:\/\/portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it, attaching thereto the requested documentation in digital format (letter of his\/her media organization and, for members of the foreign press, also a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organization\u2019s Country).<\/li>\n
    • VIA E-MAIL<\/strong> to: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it, (Tel: +39 06\/3691.3432 \u2013 06\/3691.8573), attaching thereto the aforesaid documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      It is hereby notified as of now that it will not be possible to accept new accreditation applications on the day of the event.<\/u><\/p>\n

      We inform media representatives that, for the Ceremony, the Public Security Authorities have laid down measures that limit the circulation of vehicles and the use of the parking lots adjacent to the Farnesina.<\/p>\n

      Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews may enter the Farnesina from the main entrance <\/u>\u2013 left-hand side \u2013 from\u00a009:30 a.m. and absolutely no later<\/u> than 10:30 a.m<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
